PANCE Prep Plan

To prepare for the PANCE exam, I will dedicate a total of seven weeks to focused study. I have access to 5,833 questions from the combined Rosh PANCE Qbank (3,801 questions) and UWorld PA Qbank (2,032 questions). My goal is to complete these questions in 60-question blocks, spending 60 minutes per block, followed by thorough review. This method allows for a total of 97 separate 60-question blocks, which I believe will help me build endurance and pacing in exam-like conditions while targeting high-yield topics and addressing any weak areas.

Initially, I plan to complete two blocks per day, focusing first on the Rosh PANCE Qbank. I will carefully read and analyze all explanations provided for these questions. Special emphasis will be placed on reviewing Pulmonology, Endocrinology, and Neurology, as I identify these as my weakest areas. For topics that remain unclear, I will supplement my understanding using resources like PANCE Prep Pearls and visual aids such as Osmosis, as I am a visual learner. To strengthen my pharmacology knowledge, I will utilize the book Basic Concepts in Pharmacology: What You Need to Know for Each Drug Class to review high-yield pharmacology concepts.

After completing the Rosh PANCE Qbank, I will transition to the UWorld Qbank and use these questions to create six full mock exams. I will take each mock exam on a separate days, allowing time for in-depth review and reinforcement of topics using PANCE Prep Pearls.

To complement my independent study, I plan to organize group study sessions once or twice a week. In these sessions, each member will present different topics, and we will collaboratively discuss challenging questions and concepts.

Additionally, I will purchase a mock exam from the NCCPA website, which will serve as my final practice test before the actual PANCE.

I will maintain a balanced routine that includes physical activity, rest, and sufficient sleep to optimize both mental and physical well-being. In the days leading up to the exam, I will engage in light activities with family or friends to relax and mentally prepare. On the day before the exam, I will avoid last-minute cramming, prioritize relaxation, and ensure I go to bed early to feel refreshed and ready to perform my best.
